Identity Data

Includes your email, name, and encrypted authentication tokens required to maintain your secure session.

Usage Metrics

We capture interaction patterns to improve your feed and discovery experience — focused on flow efficiency, not individual surveillance.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve Scout. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

  • Personalising your discovery feed based on your goals, interests, and eligibility.
  • Sending deadline reminders and opportunity digests you've opted into.
  • Communicating critical security alerts and platform updates.
  • Generating acceptance cards and powering the viral sharing loop.
  • Improving our AI ranking model in aggregate — never sold to third parties.
03

Request a full export of your data at any time in machine-readable format.

Erasure

Exercise your "Right to be Forgotten" — we will permanently delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.
